Finding Path Psychological Center is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Integrated Outpatient Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our dynamic remote team. Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to provide care from the comfort of your home while benefiting from the collaborative atmosphere of a well-integrated virtual team. With a flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, youโ€™ll engage with clients through telehealth systems, ensuring accessibility and convenience for those in need of our services. You will work alongside an exceptional team of professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, all united in the aim of delivering comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate both mental health and substance use challenges, identifying any co-occurring disorders that may exist.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans based on their individual needs, employing evidence-based therapies that meet their unique challenges.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on developing coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and emotional regulation skills.
  • Work in conjunction with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless coordination of care, combining therapeutic strategies with medical and addiction support.
  • Regularly monitor clients' progress regarding substance use and apply motivational interviewing techniques to enhance their motivation for change.
  • Educate clients and their families on the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, highlighting the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of treatment interventions, progress notes, and referrals adhering to ethical and legal guidelines.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings, case conferences, and ongoing professional development opportunities to continually enhance knowledge and skills in treating co-occurring disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients facing the challenges of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, who often require specialized support and understanding. By engaging with a diverse patient demographic, you will help clients navigate their unique paths to recovery, with an emphasis on sustainable outcomes and wellness.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
  • Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential for this role.
  • In-depth knowledge of integrated treatment protocols, particularly those addressing co-occurring disorders.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
