Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to identify patients' unique needs and tailor personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families. You will utilize multiple modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to facilitate clientsโ€™ progress.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, promoting peer support and mental health awareness among participants.
  • Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic care and continuity throughout the treatment process.
  • Manage crisis interventions with efficiency and compassion, providing immediate support to clients in need during mental health emergencies.
  • Educate clients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for coping, while also disseminating information about available community resources.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards using designated electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, interdisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance ongoing learning and collaboration.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with evidence-based treatment modalities and mental health disorders.
  • Strong skills in conducting mental health evaluations and formulating treatment plans based on clinical findings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and adherence to ethical practices in documentation and patient confidentiality.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health clinic setting or a similar mental health practice.
