As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients’ mental health to develop tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs and goals.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to foster emotional growth and healing.
• Providing effective guidance and support for clients dealing with issues such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other behavioral health concerns.
• Ensuring accurate and professional documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with organizational policies.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele from varied backgrounds, including individuals struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. You will engage with clients through individualized treatment plans aimed at helping them achieve lasting recovery and improved mental well-being. To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a behavioral health-related field such as psychology, social work, or counseling.
• An active California license as an LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) is required.
• At least two years of clinical experience providing therapy and support to diverse populations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively connect with clients and document progress.

While not mandatory, the following experiences would enhance your candidacy:

• Training in evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or similar approaches.
• Experience working in outpatient settings or private practice environments that prioritize client engagement and outcomes.
