Position: Business Development Manager (Outside Sales-Seeking a HUNTER!) 2 openings available

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8am - 5pm / Monday - Friday; Remote

Work Location: Los Angeles or Orange\San Diego County areas, CA

Pay Range: Annual Salary $110k-$130k base. OTE: $300,000

DivergeIT is a growing Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance solutions to SMB and mid-market clients across the LA/OC County region. We're looking for a hungry, self-motivated Business Development Manager to own a territory, build relationships in the field, and drive net-new revenue.
The Opportunity
As DivergeIT's Business Development Manager (Outside Sales), you'll drive revenue by selling our MSP services to clients in the field, managing key accounts, and expanding business through prospecting, presentations, and relationship building. You'll bring market analysis and strategic planning to your territory while consistently hitting sales targets and keeping clients satisfied and retained. We're looking for a professional, energetic, hands-on partner who thrives working independently with little or no supervision.
What You'll Do
   Execute the agreed-upon sales plan, including cross-selling and upselling of services to new and existing clients.
   Identify new leads, contact potential clients, conduct product demos, and attend trade shows.
   Build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction with tailored solutions.
   Develop and execute sales strategies, analyze market trends, and identify new opportunities.
   Generate sales reports, track performance, and communicate progress with management and internal teams.
   Effectively communicate product features and benefits and guide clients through service selection.
   Handle inquiries and requests from internal and external customers, ensuring accounts receive services within budget and aligned to their needs.
What We're Looking For
   35 years of outside B2B sales experience, ideally within an MSP, IT services, SaaS, or B2B technology environment.
   A track record of prospecting, developing, and closing net-new business and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
   Experience managing a territory or book of accounts, including renewals, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities.   
   Confidence presenting to business owners, executives, and technical decision-makers.
   Comfort with a CRM (HubSpot, ConnectWise, Salesforce, or comparable) to manage pipeline and report on activity.
   Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regular travel across the LA/OC County market.

Compensation & Benefits
This is a Full-Time, Exempt position with a base salary range of $85,000$110,000, plus unlimited bonus potential, based on experience and qualifications.
