Location: UCHealth Leprino Building  - Aurora, CO

Department: Process Improvement

Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)  

Shift: Days 

Pay: 41.43 - 62.15 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option

Summary:
Leads organizational redesign initiatives. Leads and teaches cross-functional Lean Six Sigma process improvement approaches to problem solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates multiple facility, cross-organizational teams in achieving their strategic objectives and desired outcomes. Leads and coaches leaders of system-wide, service line and cross-functional events. Coordinates services with other departments and service lines.
  • Mentors Green Belts on Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies. Provides coaching and mentoring to Process Improvement Consultants in coordination with Leadership.
  • Applies Lean Six Sigma waste and error reduction management techniques to organizational operations. Ensures adherence to PI standards and principles of Lean.
  • Leads cross-functional teams that include physicians, clinicians and administrative staff. Plans, develops, and ensures accomplishment of key projects. Develops projects to streamline and improve organizational processes. Delivers presentations and reports to project teams and executive sponsors. Facilitates attainment of measurable outcomes supporting quality, safety, financial, operational and patient experience objectives.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • Preferred: Master's degree in healthcare, business or related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • 3 years of related experience, including project management and facilitation. Experience leading complex, cross-organizational improvement initiatives.
