Summary:
The Sales Manager, Corporate Accounts is responsible for driving growth and advancing strategic objectives within assigned corporate accounts by developing and executing business plans, building strong relationships across Voith business lines and customer organizations, and aligning resources to achieve financial and operational goals. This role manages multiple key accounts and continuous improvement initiatives, evaluates performance and customer needs, and collaborates with North American and global stakeholders to enhance business effectiveness and deliver value for both Voith and its customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with key decision makers within the strategic account(s). Arrange sales meetings at corporate headquarters and at the mill locations at the appropriate frequency to become the preferred supplier.
  • Identify customer goals and needs within the strategic accounts and position Voith product and service solutions to those needs.
  • Develop strategic business plans and regular reviews, critiques, and plan revisions to achieve established goals. Communicate and update Director of Sales - Corporate Accounts regarding performance and direction of strategic account.
  • Execute strategic business plans and measure performance through key performance indicators (KPI's).
  • Provide oversight of contract reviews and risk assessments, collaborating with Voith commercial and legal stakeholders as needed to identify, evaluate, and mitigate business risks.
  • Manage price within the strategic account and align with overall market price objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement savings with internal subject matter experts per contract commitment or as a means of selling our value to the customer. Note: Continuous Improvement projects may include those outside of corporate account assignment.
  • Manage accounts receivables within the strategic account to the financial goal.
  • Travel required 50% of the time.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in related field. Business Administration, Chemical/Mechanical Engineering would be a plus.
  • At least 5 years of sales, account management, project management, or leadership experience.
  • At least 5 - 10 years of business experience preferred.
  • Contract management experience.
  • Knowledge of paper machine and industry knowledge is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Driving/flying for extended periods.
  • Prolonged exposure to extreme conditions found in industrial settings.
