Crystal Lake Families & Kids Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) to join our team. This remote, full-time position focuses on providing high-quality mental health consultation and care to patients within the framework of community health. Key Responsibilities

As an LCPC at Crystal Lake, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient intakes, including diagnostic evaluations to assess mental health needs.
  • Collaborating with primary care providers to recommend treatment goals and develop individualized care plans based on your evaluations.
  • Providing brief, focused interventions for clients requiring mental health services and ensuring that referrals to specialty facilities are made when necessary.
  • Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment approaches as needed, including developing relapse prevention strategies.
  • Assisting in the identification of at-risk patients to prevent worsening of their mental health conditions.
  • Documenting clinical evaluations and patient progress comprehensively in treatment charts to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educating patients on self-management techniques to empower them in their recovery journey.
  • Maintaining working relationships with community resources to provide coordinated care for patients.
  • Upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals in all interactions.
  • Participating in program evaluation efforts to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on individuals and families, addressing a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from anxiety and depression to stress-related issues stemming from personal and social challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.
  • A current license as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

  • Strong understanding of developmental psychopathology, DSM-IV diagnoses, and behavioral therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.
