Job description

WBS, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, is seeking a SAP Data Warehouse Developer and Architect in our Milwaukee, Wisconsin location. This position currently offers flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement (remote/on-site) with time regularly spent in the office.

This position is part of a job family (IT Applications Analyst and Senior IT Applications Analyst) where experience will be the determining factor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, develop and maintain SAP Business Warehouse (BW) data models and ETL processes to support enterprise Business Objects reporting and analytics and build reporting, as necessary.
  • Assist with the modernization of legacy BW solutions into S/4 aligned architectures.
  • Collaborate closely with users to translate business requirements into technical requirements that can be developed by developers within the organization.
  • Ensure data quality, performance and reliability in developed solutions or when supporting business requests.
  • Provide continuous operational support for the BW ecosystem and partner with 3rd party support resources.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Data Science, Information Science, Engineering is required. Other bachelor's degrees will be considered based on related IT experience. Successful completion of a certified Application Development Apprenticeship will also be considered in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • 2 years of IT experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BW including data modeling, ETL development and performance tuning
  • Solid understanding of SAP S/4 HANA data structures and modern extraction methods
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable models and analytics solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting, optimization and landscape support skills across SAP analytics environments
  • Experience with Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) reports, planning and consolidation and associated end user reporting tools

End Date: 07/22/2026 

Pay Range Minimum:  $78,702.26 

Pay Range Maximum:  $135,761.08 

This position is eligible for employee referral bonus.

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
