Rapha Mental and Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting intake assessments to effectively evaluate client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Providing therapeutic sessions utilizing a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to address a range of mental health issues.
• Monitoring client progress regularly through thorough documentation and treatment planning adjustments based on evolving needs.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when appropriate, ensuring holistic and integrated care for clients.
• Participating in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.
• Maintaining an active and clean professional license, fulfilling all necessary continuing education requirements.

Your primary focus will be providing mental health support to a diverse clientele, including adults experiencing various mental health challenges. We aim to meet each individual where they are, tailoring therapeutic approaches to support their unique experiences and goals. Our services are primarily funded by schools, allowing you more time to concentrate on therapeutic relationships without the burden of insurance billing.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a mental health counselor (LMHC), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), or psychologist (PsyD/PhD) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience providing psychotherapy, particularly with adult populations.
• Proficient knowledge and application of evidence-based therapeutic practices, especially CBT.
• Strong skills in conducting intake assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and effective treatment planning.
• Excellent written communication abilities for precise documentation and client records.
• A clean professional record, free from any disciplinary actions in any jurisdiction, confirming ongoing compliance with ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Experience working within a telehealth setting and familiarity with relevant technology.
