Job description

Job Summary:
The Brixton Group is seeking an IBM Sterling B2B Integration Engineer to support, enhance, and modernize enterprise B2B integration platforms. The role involves developing and maintaining secure, high-volume B2B integrations while ensuring platform stability and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, configure, and maintain IBM Sterling B2Bi business processes, services, and integrations.
• Support IBM Sterling platform upgrades, including impact analysis, testing, deployment, and post-upgrade validation.
• Create and maintain BPML workflows, EDI maps, and business process configurations.
• Configure and support secure communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, HTTPS, and Connect integrations.
• Troubleshoot production integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor platform performance and implement tuning recommendations.
• Configure certificates, encryption, SEAS authentication, and secure communication channels.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams during integration implementations and production releases.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing, high-availability validation, and operational support activities.
• Document technical solutions, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi), Sterling File Gateway (SFG), and Sterling External Authentication Server (SEAS).
• Experience implementing and supporting IBM Sterling platform upgrades, including B2Bi, SFG, or SEAS.
• Strong experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) standards including X12 and EDIFACT.
