Senior SAP Developer/BTP/Fiori
Location: Madison, WI (Remote )
Contract w2 or 1099
Required Skills.
• Minimum 5 years of ABAP development experience is required
• Experience with RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) components of SAP development, including event-based programming with selection screens, classic Dynpro, interactive lists, function modules, and BAPIs
• Proficiency with ABAP Objects, including custom class and interface creation, and familiarity with standard objects such as ALV tables.
• Experience with the SAP Data Dictionary, including creating custom tables, enhancing standard tables with append structures, customizing table maintenance dialogs, and working with other Dictionary objects such as domains, data elements, and search helps.
• Experience with system integration via ALE, REST API, OData, CPI, CPI-DS, or other BTP products.
• Ability to write clear, concise technical documentation.
• Experience designing and executing unit tests.
• Strong understanding of views, maintenance views, Infosets, and queries.
• Knowledge of the lock object concept, including custom lock object creation and managing locking operations within programs.
• Familiarity with ST22 and debugger tasks
• Experience analyzing, troubleshooting, and reprocessing IDocs.
• Basic knowledge of common business processes and corresponding SAP transactions and documents (e.g., Accounting Documents, Invoices, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders, Deliveries, Goods Movements).
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle concepts (requirements gathering, design, development, testing, etc.).
• Experience with system integration via ALE, REST API, OData, CPI, CPI-DS, or other BTP products
• Knowledge of SAP authorization object concepts.
• Experience supporting upgrades (SPAU/SPDD) and evaluating/applying SAP Notes. Familiarity with the full range of SAP enhancement techniques, including screen exits, customer exits, user exits, enhancement points, enhancement spots, and BAdIs.
• Experience developing custom IDocs.
• Experience developing and supporting SAP Workflow.
• Expertise in ABAP Objects, including inheritance, polymorphism, persistent objects, events, dynamic programming with RTTS, and advanced ALV tools such as trees.
• Experience with performance tuning using tools such as Runtime Analysis, SQL Tracer, and Code Inspector.
• Knowledge of CDS views; experience developing with Eclipse/ADT.
• Experience developing with SAP Fiori.
