What is the role?

We are seeking a remote HRIS Analyst for a 3-month contract to support Workday implementation, system optimization, and stakeholder adoption across the organization.

ROLE SUMMARY

Here at Howden, we are transforming the way we deliver HR services to our business, and this is an exciting time to join our evolving HR function as we look to drive commercially aligned and strategic HR support to our stakeholders.

Reporting to the Regional HRIS Team Lead, this role will focus on supporting the delivery of the Workday Implementation Roadmap across the US, helping to ensure countries and businesses are aligned with the global standard HR processes.

The successful incumbent will bring with them the prior experience of embedding Workday and will have experience of working in fast-paced, highly commercial and entrepreneurial environments. Additionally, you will have experience of delivering beyond the day to day and working with the HR Leaders and other Centres of Expertise to deliver wider HR strategic initiatives and priorities.

What will you be doing?

  • Act as the functional and technical expert for Workday, supporting both the in-country teams as well as the implementation partner team to ensure a design aligned with global standards.

  • Assist in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of the deployment.

  • Facilitate cross-functional team discussions and decision-making by asking insightful questions to uncover true needs and brainstorm effective solutions. Understand the broader context and effectively communicate the impact of HR system and process changes.

  • Work with the project teams in the analysis, development, implementation and support of allocated HR projects & changes.

  • Address complex and ambiguous issues and requests by applying analytical and reasoning skills to devise creative solutions

  • Support local teams in understanding and providing project requirements including employee data and business organisation structures.

  • Lead in partnership with our implementation partner in the review, testing, implementation, training, and communication of Workday

  • Lead with best practices and modern trends or approaches.

  • Perform detailed manipulation of complex data via tools such as spreadsheets and EIB's

  • Stay updated with the latest Workday releases and features, and assess impacts on current configurations

  • Develop relevant employee guidance ensuring all content is accurate, fit for purpose, and locally relevant.

  • Support training and engagement to ensure our key stakeholders are fully utilising Workday.

  • Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality and ensure compliance needs are met

  • Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.

  • In all internal and external contact, present a professional and positive image of the HR and the company maintaining mutually constructive, positive and beneficial relationships.

Compensation

The expected base salary range for this role is $40.00-$55.00/hr; actual hourly rate will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location. This role is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
