Job description

Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States. Preference will be given to those located in North Carolina, Florida, Texas and Arizona.
We are seeking an experienced Hogan System Analyst to lead and drive business process transformation initiatives. This position is responsible for providing advanced technical and operational business system support for core banking team. As a senior member of the team, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver solutions that align with strategic objectives. In this role you will perform needs assessments to determine business requirements and implement functional specifications to assigned systems. Ensures that developed solutions support Bank objectives through reporting and analysis activities. May involve elements of system testing or development. May occasionally guide less experienced analysts in the work group.
Responsibilities
  • Identifying Requirements - Work closely with business and technology teams to define project scope and objectives. Determines system requirements and communicates them through the use of specifications, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis. Schedule and facilitate portfolio review, requirements review, design review, and project status meetings with stakeholders, management, project, and technical teams. Develop and maintain meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and issues and action item logs.
  • Collaboration - Schedule and facilitate portfolio review, requirements review, design review, and project status meetings with stakeholders, management, project, and technical teams.   • System Support - Provides daily technical support for systems by responding to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and working to continuously improve the end-user experience. Assists in implementing recommended modifications and enhancements. May serve as an analytics resource to wider organization or business units. Create, execute, and manage development test plans and scripts and provide user acceptance and quality assurance test support.
  • Reporting - Produces reports based on data analysis, user input, and system testing. Identifies patterns, discrepancies, and areas of improvement.
  • Documentation - Elicit, develop, and manage business and functional requirements documents, which includes performing gap analysis, developing process flows and screen and report prototypes.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
OR
High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Systems Support, or Analytics, or Operations Support
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business System Analyst with a strong focus on Mainframe
  • Hogan Deposits experience or similar Core banking applications from Fiserv, FIS, Jack Henry or Systematic. Experience with related applications, e.g. CIS/RPM also preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with ALM, Jira, SharePoint, SQL Queries
