HOW YOUWILL CONTRIBUTE:
  • Plans and manages all technical aspects of the Town’s human resources information and talent management systems, such as development and implementation of new modules, system maintenance, updates and enhancements, and data integration with various applications.
  • Collaborates with IT and HR to lead the development, documentation and communication of business rules and system policies, processes and procedures.
  • Documents and maintains system configurations, procedures, user documentation, and system updates.
  • Coordinates and executes system testing for implementations, upgrades, and modifications; validates data. Communicates the changes, provides administrator training on new features and provides support to ensure successful knowledge transfer.
  • Participates in HR projects by leading and collaborating on the process/system design, configuration,and testing, and providing support pre and post go live.
  • Identifies and resolves issues as well as working with staff in the Information Technology Department for issues that are outside of the HR expertise, system access and/or scope of responsibilities.
  • Suggests and implements enhancements and/ormodifications to current procedures to allow for more efficient processing,while recognizing the interplay of the systems’ setups.
  • Generates, maintains, and distributes standard and custom reports across all HR systems to support business decisions.
  • Coordinates, tests, and troubleshoots integrations between HR systems and other internal or external systems. Ensures validation of data between systems. Creates, maintains, and modifies system tables as needed.
  • Prepares and presents hands on classroom training on talent management system functionality; creates user guides/training documentation; builds necessary set ups for the training experience.
  • Provides training for supervisors and employees on uses and best practices of the HR management systems.
  • Works closely with departmental liaisons/representatives, providing guidance and education to HRMS end-users, to ensure accuracy of data entry.
  • Uploads various data into systems. including butnot limited to mass pay and leave changes.
  • Ensures data integrity and follows quality control measures for data accuracy; verifies data input tothe HRM systems and makes corrections when necessary.
  • Maintains system security best practices andcontrol access by creating roles and granting permissions.
  • Compiles data for various reports, runs queries and reports as requested.
  • Safeguards confidential information andsensitive data. Maintains a variety of files, records and reports in the HumanResources Department.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

WHAT SETSYOU UP FOR SUCCESS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related filed with two (2) years of HRIS experience; Associate's degree with four (4) years of HRIS experience; or an equivalent combination of education and progressive professional experience.
