• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify clients' emotional and social needs, ensuring their concerns are fully understood and addressed.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other specialists to create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique circumstances and goals.
• Facilitate crisis interventions when necessary, performing risk assessments and developing safety plans for clients experiencing acute distress.
• Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately, maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards to ensure continuity of care.
• Conduct group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops to empower clients and their families through shared experiences and collective healing.

Your primary focus will be on clients within the hospice center, which encompasses individuals facing terminal illnesses, their families, and caregivers who may also be in need of emotional support. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, addressing complex grief processes, facilitating coping strategies, and enhancing overall quality of life during challenging times.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, particularly with hospice or end-of-life care is preferred.
• Proficient understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and the ability to tailor techniques to meet clients' needs.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to foster relationships with clients and their families.

• Experience in working with grief counseling and loss support for clients and families in the hospice environment.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for maintaining client documentation and treatment planning.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to the team's goals.

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a potential sign-on bonus.
