Position Title: Remote Healthcare Government Reimbursement Manager
The Healthcare Government Reimbursement Manager is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on hospitals and healthcare systems across the country while building a long-term career in a specialized and growing field. In this role, you'll lead Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement projects from start to finish, helping healthcare organizations recover critical funding while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the process. You'll work directly with hospital leadership, analyze complex reimbursement data, manage multiple client engagements, and contribute to financial outcomes that support patient care and community health. If you enjoy solving problems, leading projects, working with data, and building strong client relationships, this role offers exceptional growth potential, leadership visibility, and earning opportunities.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000 / Year DOE + Bonus & Commission Opportunities
Responsibilities:
  • Manage Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement projects for hospital clients
  • Lead project onboarding, planning, and client communication
  • Gather, validate, and analyze reimbursement data
  • Identify reimbursement opportunities and financial impact
  • Conduct quality control reviews and audit support activities
  • Present findings and recommendations to hospital stakeholders
  • Manage project timelines, deliverables, and client expectations
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Support reimbursement submissions and compliance requirements
  • Maintain strong client relationships throughout project lifecycles

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hospital healthcare government reimbursement experience
  • Strong understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement processes
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SQL Management Studio experience
  • HSF experience
  • Hospital-side Medicare reimbursement experience
  • Medicare bad debt experience
  • EPIC experience
  • HPPA Certification
