What is a remote global partnerships role?

Remote global partnerships roles involve building and managing relationships with organizations, businesses, or individuals across different countries, all while working from a remote location. Professionals in these roles identify collaboration opportunities, negotiate agreements, and coordinate joint initiatives without being physically present at a central office. The goal is to expand an organization's international presence and foster mutually beneficial relationships worldwide.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote global partnerships manager?

These abilities are essential to successfully foster strategic alliances and drive global business growth from a remote environment.

Job description

Veeam is the Data and AI Trust Company, specializing in helping organizations ensure their data and AI are fully understood, secured, and resilient to enable the acceleration of safe AI at scale. As the market leader in both data resilience and data security posture management, Veeam is built for the convergence of identity, data, security, and AI risk. Headquartered in Seattle with offices in more than 30 countries, Veeam protects over 550,000 customers worldwide, who trust Veeam to keep their businesses running. Join us as we go fearlessly forward together, growing, learning, and making a real impact for some of the world's biggest brands.
About the Role
This is a high-impact role at the center of Veeam's enterprise growth strategy. As the Sr. Global Partner Marketing Manager, you will define and scale the global enterprise partner go-to-market motion for our Data & AI Security motion, one of Veeam's most strategic growth areas.
You will be responsible for building the enterprise partner marketing strategy from the ground up - defining the partner opportunity, shaping the global GTM framework, creating scalable partner plays, and driving regional adoption in partnership with sales, product marketing, alliances, and partner teams.
You will operate as a strategic business owner and hands-on builder. Success in this role requires the ability to connect market opportunity, product strategy, partner capability, and enterprise buyer needs into a scalable global motion.
What You'll Do
  • Define and own the global enterprise partner marketing strategy for Veeam's Data & AI Security portfolio, including segmentation, value proposition, campaigns, enablement, launch readiness, and regional adoption.
  • Build the global partner GTM playbook, translating enterprise priorities into scalable to-partner, through-partner, and with-partner motions that drive adoption, pipeline creation, and acceleration.
  • Define the ideal enterprise partner profile and partner growth strategy, partnering with regional channel, sales, and partner teams to identify, activate, and expand enterprise-capable partners.
  • Own partner marketing strategy for Data & AI Security product launches, ensuring partner readiness through enablement paths, campaign kits, sales plays, launch toolkits, and adoption tracking.
  • Shape the enterprise partner messaging and enablement strategy, creating assets such as playbooks, pitch decks, webinars, enablement guides, and executive conversation materials.
  • Partner with Demand Gen and regional teams to develop integrated partner campaigns and account-based partner marketing motions that drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced enterprise pipeline.
  • Define performance metrics, track partner activation and campaign impact, gather feedback, and communicate strategy, insights, progress, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
What You'll Bring
  • 7-10+ years of experience in partner marketing, channel marketing, alliance marketing, or enterprise GTM roles, ideally in cybersecurity, data protection, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, AI, or enterprise software.
  • Demonstrated experience building or transforming a partner GTM motion, especially in a new or emerging market category.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise partner ecosystems, including VARs, SIs, GSIs, MSPs, MSSPs, cloud/service providers, or technology alliance partners.
  • Proven ability to develop global strategies and translate them into scalable regional execution plans.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Channel, Alliances, and Regional Marketing to launch and scale enterprise offerings through partners.
  • Track record designing partner campaigns, enablement programs, incentives, and activation models that drive measurable adoption and pipeline impact.
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs, building performance dashboards, and using data to optimize programs.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where no playbook exists.
  • Equally effective as a strategic thinker and hands-on operator.

  • Paid parental leave: 8 weeks for all parents, 16 weeks for birthing parents
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on your first day
  • Mental health support, therapy sessions, and digital wellness tools via our Employee Assistance Program
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions
  • Fertility, adoption, and surrogacy support through Maven, plus paid volunteer time
  • AirVet: 24/7 virtual veterinary care at no cost
  • Legal services, identity protection, and supplemental health insurance options
