Job description

Position Overview: The Global Partnerships Intern will assist with and learn about corporate sponsorships and brand activation from MSE's Global Partnerships Marketing Department. This is a paid internship.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Partnerships Marketing team in crafting sponsorship proposals, presentations, recap reports, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Clear Slide and Excel.
  • Support Partnership Sales efforts conducting research regarding sponsorship, marketing campaigns, and industry trends.
  • Assist in the fulfillment of various contracted assets (i.e. autographed merchandise, dasherboards, suite nights, tickets).
  • Take proof of performance photos at all games and events, organize and edit post-event.
  • Work Capitals and Wizards home games at Capital One Arena, client receptions, and other special events.
  • Assist staff with general day-to-day operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Current undergraduate or graduate student.
  • Adaptable and able to problem solve in pressure situations.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; comfortable communicating with other internal departments and clients.
  • Able and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. boxes.
  • Reliable transportation and housing.
  • Flexibility to attend events that occur outside normal business hours.
  • Dedicated, hard-working, punctual, dependable, and a great teammate.

Pay Rate: $18.40 USD/hour.
