As our Director Product Development (or Sr. Product Development Manager, based on experience), you'll be responsible for overseeing the successful launch and execution of insurance products and business capabilities, ensuring they are implemented effectively and efficiently. This role bridges the gap between product development and its operational delivery, managing timelines, coordinating resources, and facilitating communication across multiple cross-functional teams within the organization. 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary (Levels have variable responsibilities and qualifications):
    • Sr. Product Development Manager: $112,000 - $151,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
    • Director Product Development: $138,500 - $187,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Product Launch Management: Oversee the successful launch of new insurance products and business capabilities, ensuring they meet all necessary requirements and standards. 
  • Operational Coordination: Bridge the gap between product development and operational delivery, ensuring a smooth transition and effective implementation. 
  • Timeline Management: Manage project timelines to ensure that all tasks and milestones are completed on schedule. 
  • Resource Coordination: Coordinate resources across various teams to ensure that all necessary personnel and materials are available for successful implementation. 
  • Annuity Operating Model: Oversee operational and compliance-based processes relating to the annuity product line. 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Relevant Experience: 5-7 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related field within the insurance industry is required. 
  • Leadership Experience: Experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing cross-functional teams and managing complex projects, is highly desirable. 
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, including product development and operational processes, is essential. 
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects from start to finish. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and facilitate collaboration. 
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address issues that may arise during implementation. 
  • Team Coordination: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, coordinating efforts and ensuring that all team members are aligned with project goals. 
  • You promote a collaborative culture, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.

PREFERRED:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, insurance, or a related field.
