Job description

PeopleSoft Financials Functional Consultant

Duration: 12 months

Location: Fully remote. Client is located in Tulsa, OK

Apex Systems is working with a state government client to find a PeopleSoft Financials Functional Consultant to support the client’s PeopleSoft Financials implementation. This support includes project management and support for implementations of PeopleSoft modules including Phase II for state agencies, providing production support to state agencies, software upgrades, and enhancements in conjunction with state and contract resources. Qualified resources will be able to enable the continued expansion and enhancement of the mission critical statewide PeopleSoft enterprise system.

This resource will work alongside the Finance Center of Excellence staff. This resource may backfill production support so existing staff and consultants can work on implementations or upgrades, or this resource may be pulled into the project team to assist with implementation activities. The resource will need to be proficient in all financial modules and the interfaces between payroll and grants, projects, contracts, AR, AP, Travel & Expense, and billing modules.

General Requirements
  • Knowledge of and experience with PeopleSoft HCM v9.0 and Financials v9.2
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience with PUM40
  • Module knowledge: Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense. Additional module knowledge: Grants, Projects, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and additional PS Financials modules
  • Ability to adapt to state agency’s account procedures
  • Ability and willingness to participate in knowledge transfer sessions pertaining to production
  • Preferences given to resources with state government experience.

Required Skills: PeopleSoft Financials - Accounts Payable OR Travel & Expenses - functional configuration, support, and analysis. Basic Qualification: Additional Skills: Background Check: Yes.
