Job description

Yatooma Law is a fully remote litigation practice seeking tenacious trial lawyers to join our team. We are hiring only zealous advocates with outstanding writing and oratory skills. If you would describe yourself likewise, and have at least three years of litigation experience, please provide your resume, references, and a writing sample that is entirely your own.


Remote or hybrid work available:

Compensation package includes profit-sharing, benefits, and a base salary of least $85k. Full-time, part-time, flex-time, and independent contractor arrangements are also available.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze complex legal issues, including but not limited to legal malpractice, commercial transactions, privacy violations, and franchise liabilities.
  • Draft compelling submissions for state, federal, and appellate courts. 
  • Prepare for and present oral argument in the state, federal, and appellate courts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on creative case strategies.
  • Contribute to the firm’s thoughtful leadership through written and oral presentations.


Required Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice in Michigan.
  • Exceptional legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills.
  • Strong oral advocacy and public speaking abilities.
  • Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for challenging legal work.
  • Three years of trial and litigation experience in arbitration, state and/or federal courts.
