We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Program Estimator to manage restoration projects from initial inspection through estimate approval and handoff to production. This role is responsible for developing accurate, timely estimates, coordinating with subcontractors and insurance adjusters, and guiding customers through the early stages of the restoration process.
A key focus of this position is working within multiple insurance carrier program guidelines (including SERVPRO program partnerships), ensuring estimates, documentation, and communication comply with program requirements while maintaining speed and accuracy.
This position is ideal for someone who understands insurance-based restoration work, can move quickly under deadlines, and maintains a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to new leads within 2–4 hours and schedule inspections promptly 
  •  Perform on-site inspections and document full scope of loss, including photos, measurements, and detailed notes 
  •  Work within insurance carrier program guidelines (including SERVPRO programs) to ensure compliance with estimating standards, required documentation, and submission timelines 
  •  Coordinate emergency mitigation or temporary services as needed 
  •  Request, review, and analyze subcontractor bids 
  •  Prepare detailed estimates using estimating software, including sketches, photos, and material specifications in accordance with program requirements 
  •  Submit estimates to insurance adjusters and program partners within required timelines and follow up as needed 
  •  Review approved estimates with customers and obtain required authorizations/contracts 
  •  Assist customers with material selections and set clear project expectations 
  •  Compile and organize complete job documentation, including mortgage information, insurance requirements, and payment schedules 
  •  Order specialty materials and prepare job files for production handoff 
  •  Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure a smooth transition from estimating to execution 
  •  Maintain ongoing communication with customers, adjusters, and program partners regarding updates, supplements, and scope changes 
  •  Document and manage change orders in accordance with company and insurance program requirements 
  •  Support draw schedules, inspections, and final invoicing processes as needed

Position Requirements
  • Prior experience in restoration, construction estimating, or insurance claims required 
  •  Experience working within insurance carrier programs (SERVPRO program experience strongly preferred) 
  •  Proficiency in estimating software (Xactimate preferred) 
  •  Strong understanding of insurance estimating guidelines and compliance expectations 
  •  Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills 
  •  Ability to manage multiple estimates, deadlines, and program requirements simultaneously 
  •  Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-service mindset 
  •  Valid driver’s license required
Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies
  • Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods of times (i.e., driving, sitting, climbing)
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
  • Exposure to noise levels at jobsites that can be loud
  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
