Bilingual Spanish/English Fractional E-Commerce Bookkeeper (Remote | Part-Time | 1099)Role Details

About the Role

We're partnering with a fast-growing international e-commerce company that is expanding into the U.S. market. They're looking for a Bilingual Fractional Bookkeeper to set up and manage their U.S. financial operations from the ground up.

This role will start with light hours as U.S. operations are established, but will quickly grow in scope and complexity. You'll work closely with the Finance Manager (based in Madrid) and a Fractional CFO, while also collaborating with a CPA supporting accounting functions.

You'll take ownership of bookkeeping and help create a clean, scalable financial foundation for continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and manage QuickBooks for U.S. operations

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records

  • Categorize transactions and reconcile bank/credit card accounts

  • Manage and reconcile data across Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok platforms

  • Prepare monthly reports and support monthly close processes

  • Collaborate with international finance team and external CPA

  • Identify gaps and help improve financial systems and processes

Qualifications
  • Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in e-commerce businesses

  • Experience with platforms such as Shopify, Amazon, and/or TikTok

  • Experience setting up bookkeeping systems (QuickBooks strongly preferred)

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems

  • Comfortable working with international teams and time zones

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required
