• Build positive and trusting rapport with clients to foster a safe and supportive environment for therapy.
• Assess and diagnose mental health disorders through comprehensive evaluations and patient interviews.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' needs, goals, and circumstances.
• Conduct therapy sessions with individuals and couples, providing compassionate guidance and interventions.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress through ongoing assessments, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities and frameworks, tailoring approaches to suit each patient's unique situation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, referring clients to specialists for additional support.
• Document patient interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

You will primarily work with a diverse population, serving individuals and families facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Your role is pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, providing them with the tools and strategies necessary to lead healthier lives.

• A valid LMFT license issued by the appropriate state regulatory board.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health theories, best practices, and legal/ethical standards associated with therapy.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and effectively engage clients in the therapeutic process.
• Demonstrated ability to create a non-judgmental space that encourages trust and open dialogue between therapist and client.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and treatment of co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices for substance abuse treatment.
• Prior experience in an outpatient or community-based mental health setting.
• A proven track record of successfully developing and implementing therapeutic interventions that improve client outcomes.
