This position is fully remote, utilizing a robust telehealth model which allows counselors to engage with clients from the comfort of their own homes while having access to necessary technology and support. Our organization values work-life balance and offers flexible scheduling options to enable our clinicians to thrive both personally and professionally. You will be empowered to build your own client caseload and manage your time effectively, ensuring a harmonious work environment that promotes mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Foster Future Foundation, you will:

  • Maintain thorough documentation for each client, ensuring accurate and timely progress notes and treatment record-keeping.
  • Conduct intake assessments to gather information about new clients’ backgrounds, needs, and challenges.
  • Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions, utilizing approaches that resonate with clients and foster open communication.
  • Participate in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with other health care professionals to ensure holistic care and integrate various treatment modalities into client plans.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, continuously seeking personal and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be vital in helping a diverse patient population that includes adults, children, and families experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. • At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in an outpatient clinical setting, demonstrating practice in individual or family therapy.
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology, including experience with tools like Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY to manage client data effectively.
Preferred Experience

We favor candidates who also have:
