Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients with a focus on establishing rapport and building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, address challenges, and prepare for potential discharge when appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans that align with each client's goals and aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Carry out comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' needs and recommend appropriate treatment strategies.
  • Lead individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to various mental health conditions.
  • Engage in regular supervision sessions for professional development and support.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide holistic care.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, seeking out continuous improvement in personal competencies and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our organization primarily serves a diverse outpatient population, including adults, children, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. As a Clinical Counselor, your role will involve working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise will help foster healing and resilience, impacting not only individual clients but the entire community.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
  • Current, active, and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status.
  • A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer applications, including Excel, Outlook, and preferred client management systems.
  • Experience in delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with a focus on positive outcomes.
  • Competent in conducting intake assessments and formulating initial treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with RMS systems and other relevant clinical documentation tools.
