The Recovery Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. You will primarily interact with clients virtually, while also participating in regular team meetings and community outreach initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of our services. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the social, emotional, and environmental challenges affecting clients' well-being.
• Develop individualized service plans that set clear goals, outline interventions, and facilitate ongoing progress monitoring.
• Provide individual and family counseling to clients facing life challenges such as mental health issues, substance abuse, and domestic violence.
• Collaborate with clients to connect them with pertinent community resources, ensuring they have access to necessary support systems.
• Offer crisis intervention services, including risk assessments and safety planning, to address immediate needs effectively.
• Work in collaboration with community organizations and agencies to coordinate diverse services tailored to client needs and advocate for their rights.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of social issues and promoting the agency’s essential services.
• Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing staff training to enhance service delivery and personal development.

The Recovery Wellness Center serves a diverse clientele, including individuals and families grappling with the complexities of homelessness, mental health disorders, addiction, and other socio-economic challenges. Our approach prioritizes a holistic perspective, addressing root causes rather than just symptoms, and we strive to empower our clients toward self-sufficiency and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of social and economic justice issues, along with knowledge of community resources and trauma-informed care principles.
• Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, cultural competence, and problem-solving abilities.

• Previous experience within a social service agency or similar environment.
• Experience working with clients facing homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health issues is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and methodologies in mental health and social work.
