Position Overview

Recovery Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is critical in supporting vulnerable populations and addressing complex social challenges through comprehensive services, advocacy efforts, and community-based resources. Work Environment

This full-time position allows for the convenience and flexibility of remote work, enabling you to manage your schedule while maintaining regular business hours. However, occasional evening and weekend hours may be required based on client needs and program activities. While you will primarily work from home, you will remain connected with our dedicated team of professionals through virtual meetings and collaborative platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and individualized assessments to pinpoint clients' social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive service plans that outline goals, interventions, and mechanisms for monitoring client progress.
• Provide empathetic counseling and support to individuals and families dealing with issues such as homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and mental health challenges.
• Collate community resources and advocate for clients, ensuring they receive essential services tailored to their specific needs.
• Engage in crisis intervention, providing immediate risk assessments, safety planning, and support during critical incidents.
• Collaborate effectively with external agencies and organizations to coordinate holistic support and amplify clients’ voices.
• Participate in community outreach activities that educate the public about available resources and promote the services offered by Recovery Wellness Center.
• Attend case conferences, team meetings, and staff training sessions to ensure continuous professional development and alignment with organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals and families facing complex social issues such as mental health disorders, addiction, and socio-economic barriers. Our focus is on empowering our clients through tailored interventions designed to address their unique circumstances, promoting resilience, self-sufficiency, and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is mandatory.
• An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required to practice independently.
• Strong knowledge of social justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care principles.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with cultural competence, are essential for effectively engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Problem-solving abilities to navigate complex client situations and foster sustainable solutions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in social service agencies or similar settings is highly regarded.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and case management software may provide an advantage in this role.
• Experience in community outreach and public speaking is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Recovery Wellness Center offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 60,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
