Job description

Document Control Specialist

Hill International is seeking a Document Control Specialist to assist project(s) in Washington, D.C. This position will support project teams and clients in maintaining project records & contract documents and providing additional assistance, as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for retrieving and organizing contract documents, as required, using the client's electronic project management system utilizing established procedures & protocols
  • Responsible for downloading, assembling, filing, and distributing project documents to include (but not limited to) change order notices, proposals, inspection reports, commissioning documents, compliance reports, and any document submitted utilizing client's electronic project management platform
  • Distributes ad hoc reports to internal and external customers, as requested
  • Responsible for maintaining Hill's internal project folders
  • Prepare and issue client invoices in accordance with contract terms
  • Serve as contact for clients on collection of accounts receivable
  • Tracks meeting minutes, arranges meeting schedules, provides support for tracking risks, issues, and action items
  • Complies with data integrity and security policies
  • Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Four-year college degree is preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience in an administrative role
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills; ability to communicate with various levels of company staff and management
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000. The salary offered will be based on the applicant's qualifications, education, experience and work location.
