The Remote Weighmaster is responsible for accurately weighing and documenting materials, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies. This role involves operating and maintaining weighing equipment, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to facilitate the smooth handling of materials. The Remote Weighmaster plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of inventory records and supports the efficient operation of the department.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Responds to customer questions and concerns by phone to maintain good customer relations.
  • Communicate any customer, job site, mix quality, plant, and any other concerns and issues related to the business to the appropriate entity (i.e., sales, QC, operations, or management).
  • Remotely Verifies material once loaded and remotely weighs trucks to ensure the correct quantity is shipped.
  • Computes accounts receivable to ensure the accuracy of cash sales and receipts.
  • Responsible for recording operating data on a form.
  • Responsible for reporting malfunctioning equipment and writing repair work orders.
  • Must have the ability to follow directions from a supervisor.
  • Must have the ability to appear for work on time. Attendance and detail-oriented are essential to this position.
Required skills and qualifications:
  • Must be highly dependable.
  • Telephone, keyboard, computer, and 10-key operator experience are a plus.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • One to two years of Weighmaster experience preferred
  • Construction/transportation administrative experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Must reside in the Pacific Time Zone
