Job description

Director, Enterprise Endpoint Engineering & Digital Workplace

We are seeking a visionary technology leader to own the strategic roadmap, architecture, and governance of our global end-user compute ecosystem. This role drives the transition from legacy infrastructure to a secure, cloud-first digital workplace at a massive enterprise scale. You will lead high-performing engineering teams, manage key vendor relationships, and align modern workplace technologies with broader business and security objectives.

Strategic Mandate & Key Pillars

  • Global Platform Strategy & Evolution: Define the multi-year roadmap for the global Windows 10/11 lifecycle. Own the strategic migration from legacy architectures to Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager, driving GPO modernization to achieve a fully unified, cloud-managed device estate.
  • Next-Gen Provisioning & Lifecycle Management: Champion user-experience excellence by scaling modern deployment methodologies. Oversee the global architecture for Windows Autopilot and standardize hardware/peripheral lifecycles across the entire desktop and laptop portfolio.
  • Enterprise Virtualization & Cloud Compute: Direct the strategy, cost-optimization, and delivery of high-availability remote work environments, heavily leveraging Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and enterprise-scale VDI solutions.
  • DevOps Culture & Enterprise Automation: Foster an automation-first culture within the engineering organization. Drive operational efficiencies and configuration compliance by championing the use of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure-as-code management.
  • Executive Security Governance: Partner with the CISO team to embed Zero Trust principles across all end-user touchpoints. Ensure the global fleet complies with rigorous endpoint security frameworks and CIS baselines, mitigating risk without compromising user productivity.
