Overview

MMUSA is headquartered in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The preferred location for this role is northern New Jersey, with a hybrid schedule that includes two days per week in the Bloomfield office with the Finance & Operations team. A remote arrangement may be considered for an exceptionally well qualified candidate. Occasional domestic travel for meetings and business support in the U.S. may be required. The Senior Data and Analytics Manager will report directly to the Director of Finance & Operations.


Purpose of the Senior Data and Analytics Manager Role

Mary’s Meals USA is seeking a Senior Data and Analytics Manager to lead the organization’s data analytics, reporting, data governance and oversee the administration of Salesforce. This role will help ensure that donor, fundraising, operational, and financial data is accurate, accessible, secure, and used effectively to guide strategy and decision-making. The Senior Data and Analytics Manager will supervise the CRM Lead as well as one other analyst position.


Principal Duties

The Senior Data and Analytics Manager will collaborate closely with Finance, Development, Marketing, MMUSA Leadership, and Mary’s Meals International technology and data partners. This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented data professional who can strengthen data quality, improve reporting processes, develop executive-level dashboards, and translate complex information into clear, actionable business insights.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Lead organization-wide data analytics, reporting, KPI tracking, Salesforce CRM management, and reporting optimization.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and performance metrics for the Leadership Team and Board of Directors.

  • Partner with Finance, Development, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership colleagues to understand business needs and deliver clear, timely, and actionable reporting.

  • Strengthen data quality, integrity, accessibility, security, and consistency across donor, fundraising, operational, and financial data sources.

  • Create executive dashboards and standardized reports that improve visibility into organizational performance, fundraising trends, and operating results.

  • Support monthly financial reporting, operating KPI reporting, and ad hoc analysis for cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Supervise, coach, and support the CRM Lead and Operations analyst, including prioritizing data and reporting workstreams.

  • Advance data governance practices, including documentation, data definitions, reporting standards, and process improvements.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will bring:



  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related technical field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a corporate or nonprofit environment, with demonstrated success in data analytics, reporting, database management, or business intelligence.

  • At least 3 years of Salesforce CRM experience; nonprofit Salesforce experience is strongly preferred.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data modelling, and analysis of large datasets.

  • Experience building dashboards, recurring reports, and performance metrics; Power BI or similar dashboard/reporting expertise is preferred.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical audiences.

  • Management or supervisory experience preferred, including the ability to coach analysts and prioritize competing reporting requests.

  • Salesforce certifications are a plus.

  • Ability to work effectively with a geographically dispersed team in a hybrid or remote environment.

  • Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build productive working relationships across departments.

  • Candidates located in Northern or Central New Jersey are preferred.
