Job description

We’re working with our client to source a dynamic Executive Director for their organization.  In this role you’ll partner with senior leadership, boards and a management committee to oversee all operations.


You’ll be responsible for managing budget and all accounting functions including grant applications and scholarships.  Your skills will be used to work with our vendors evaluating performance and budgets for each.


You’ll work to grow our membership and develop engagement strategies to strengthen their presence in the community.  You’ll be responsible for developing an integrated communications strategy to enhance the organizations visibility and presence in the community.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (degree in nonprofit management, business administration, or related field preferred) 
  • 5–7 years of progressive management experience preferably in a nonprofit environment. 
  • Strong financial skills  (budgeting, QuickBooks or equivalent) and proficiency in standard office systems and database experience with ShulCloud, Salesforce) is highly preferred. 
  • A strong understanding of cultural issues consistent with the  for the organizations mission.


The appropriate candidate will be a mission-driven, service-oriented leader who is highly collaborative and relationship-focused.
