• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans including pre-crisis and crisis intervention plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
• Complete all required documentation in a timely manner, adhering to regulatory standards that ensure compliance and quality of care.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as recommended by the clinical team to track client progress and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with various interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation activities, demonstrating commitment to maintaining the highest standards of practice.
• Serve as an essential liaison with state agencies, community partners, and service systems to facilitate a continuum of care.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders to meet contract standards and advocate for our services within the community.
• Establish partnerships with local organizations to promote our programs and secure additional resources and funding.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending relevant conferences, workshops, and meetings to enhance your expertise.
• Embody and promote the organization's mission, values, and guiding principles in all aspects of your work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support overall clinic operations and patient care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals seeking assistance for emotional distress, substance use issues, and those with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Your role is critical in addressing various mental health challenges, and through direct counseling, you will support clients in their recovery journey while promoting resilience, independent living, and community engagement.

• A valid LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory.
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• Strong capability to maintain clinical records and prepare comprehensive reports as part of the treatment process.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and effectively communicate ideas.
• Sound judgment and independent decision-making skills based on clinical knowledge and ethical considerations.

• Experience working with specific populations, including those with substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, or acquired brain injuries, is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is advantageous.
