As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Beyond Social Work Center, you will:

• Provide individual psychotherapy tailored to clients in substance abuse recovery, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Conduct thorough assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans that promote positive mental health outcomes.
• Utilize best practices and innovative, solution-focused interventions to support clients through their recovery processes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation to comply with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure holistic and continuous care for clients.
• Educate patients and their families about substance abuse resources and strategies for mental health management.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by staying updated with the latest research and integrating new techniques into your practice.

Your primary focus will be on diverse patients navigating the challenges of substance abuse recovery. This role requires sensitivity to various cultural backgrounds and an understanding of the multifaceted nature of addiction, as well as associated mental health concerns. You will provide guidance and support that empowers individuals to overcome their obstacles and achieve sustainable recovery.

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• At least one year of clinical experience specifically in substance abuse therapy.
• A solid understanding of solution-based interventions and therapeutic modalities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills essential for engaging patients and collaborating with colleagues.

We highly value candidates with prior experience working in outpatient substance abuse treatment settings, as well as those who have a proven track record of successfully implementing evidence-based practices to drive clinical success. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth services is advantageous.
