Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Beyond Social Work Center, you will:

• Provide individual psychotherapy to patients undergoing treatment for substance abuse and related mental health concerns.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans focused on evidence-based approaches.
• Implement therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) specifically designed for substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the treatment team to ensure coordinated care and support for patients and their families.
• Educate patients and their families on available mental health resources and strategies to support recovery.
• Stay abreast of current research and innovations in mental health and incorporate them into your therapeutic practice.
• Manage your caseload efficiently, setting and achieving treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients facing challenges related to both substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. This includes individuals from various backgrounds and socioeconomic statuses, each requiring unique and personalized treatment approaches. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience, specifically in the field of substance abuse therapy.
• A strong understanding of solution-focused interventions and methodologies.
• Effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills, essential for working within a dynamic treatment team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
