Lyntris is a defense technology company that connects sensing to action across the connected battlespace. Lyntris brings together the talents of Accelint and Vitesse teams under one mission, with each contributing deep expertise within their domain. Combining differentiated hardware, software and mission expertise, Lyntris helps customers sense threats, make sense of complex conditions and act with greater speed, precision and confidence in contested environments.

Job Description
  • Teamcenter Data Architect
  • Full Time
  • Remote or Hybrid

The Teamcenter Data Architect plays a key role in designing and configuring a compliant Teamcenter Business Modeler IDE (BMIDE) data model. This role is primarily hands-on, responsible for building, extending, and maintaining the PLM data model while ensuring alignment with enterprise design standards and Navy mission requirements. The position contributes directly to establishing a unified, cost-effective, and mission-ready PLM environment that reduces delivery timelines, improves data consistency, and enables a single source of truth across the Naval Enterprise. The role balances practical implementation with targeted design responsibilities to ensure the data model is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with long-term Navy Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (NPLM) objectives. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience working in a similar capacity on any large enterprise system implementation/integration project specific to engineering or manufacturing.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and maintain Teamcenter data models using BMIDE, including object types, attributes, relationships, and business rules.
  • Develop, deploy, and support BMIDE templates and extensions across development and production environments.
  • Translate Navy engineering, logistics, and lifecycle management requirements into scalable, maintainable PLM data structures.
  • Apply and enforce data modeling standards, naming conventions, and BMIDE best practices to ensure consistency, reusability, and compliance across the NPLM solution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data documentation, including data dictionaries, schema diagrams, and metadata definitions, to support transparency, governance, and knowledge transfer.
  • Support the evolution of the Teamcenter data model architecture, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives and interoperability requirements.
  • Conduct impact analysis and implement controlled updates to the data model to support system integrations and evolving mission needs.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and functional stakeholders to align data model design with system capabilities and business requirements.
  • Partner with data governance and architecture teams to promote a single source of truth, reduce data duplication, and align with enterprise data standards.
  • Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of BMIDE configurations, including resolving schema conflicts, deployment issues, and data inconsistencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise system implementations (e.g., PLM, ERP, MRP, DevSecOps, or CRM)
  • Experience with data modeling, data migration, data mapping, and legacy system consolidation
  • Familiarity with configuration management, version control, and deployment processes
  • Ability to interpret technical and functional requirements and translate them into scalable data model solutions
  • Experience creating and maintaining structured data documentation, such as data dictionaries, schema definitions, and related artifacts
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and documentation/collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Teamcenter BMIDE development and configuration, including creation and management of business objects, attributes, relationships, LOVs, compound properties, and relation types
  • Ability to configure and extend Teamcenter behavior using BMIDE features such as conditions, rules, runtime properties, and other extensions
  • Strong understanding of PLM data modeling concepts and object-oriented data structures, with the ability to design scalable and maintainable models
  • Experience working within enterprise system environments, including system integrations and data exchange mechanisms (e.g., SOA services, XML, JSON)
  • Familiarity with Teamcenter ITK and/or server-side customization concepts to effectively collaborate with developers and understand downstream impacts of data model changes
  • Experience supporting or configuring Active Workspace and understanding how BMIDE configurations are represented in the user interface
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving data model issues, including schema conflicts, deployment errors, and environment inconsistencies
  • Understanding of underlying database concepts (e.g., tables, indexing, normalization) and their impact on Teamcenter data persistence and performance optimization
  • Experience defining and applying data standards, naming conventions, and metadata management practices within large-scale systems
  • Familiarity with data governance concepts, including metadata management, data quality, and alignment with enterprise data architecture
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • This position may require the ability to travel up to 5%.
