What You'll Do:

The Master Data Management Specialist is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Master Data in corporate computing systems that are fundamental to the business processes. This position will provide quality control over the elements and guidance to ensure accurate and consistent data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate with other functional departments to ensure all required information is provided to set up new items or modify existing items in ERP System (NetSuite).

  • Analyze data/information provided through change requests and ensure the data validity and accuracy within NetSuite for the lifecycle of the items

  • Serves as a common business voice for all Companies in process and initiatives for NetSuite item master data.

  • Owns and Responsible for the execution and process improvement for the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) process for NetSuite Item Maintenance

  • Engage functional stakeholders of changes to resolve instances of incomplete or inaccurate data/information.

  • Ensure all required NetSuite fields (master data, bill of material, routing, vendor, etc.) are populated completely with accurate data.

  • Maintain current documentation of processes used for the system data.

  • Review and identify data cleansing opportunities

  • Assist with identification and implementation of improvements for processes and tools used to facilitate the management of system information.

  • Provide project status updates to cross-functional teams on ERP system updates being completed.

  • Ensure common processes are being utilized and internal controls are in place.

  • Enforce strict data security and compliance standards to protect company data.

  • Function as the material data gatekeeper maintaining consistency, uniformity, and accuracy of data in various business systems.

  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics or related field

  • 2+ years' experience Data, Purchasing, Manufacturing or related fields

  • Proven analytical, strategic/critical thinking and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to make appropriate decisions working within established guidelines.

  • Business acumen is required with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Must be able to multi-task in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Possess ability to effectively conceptualize, plan and organize.

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Pay: $75,000-$95,000 annually
