Job description

Our client has raised over $100M in funding and backed by some of the best VCs like Westcap and Goldman Sachs. They've also been featured as one of the best startup employers in the United States supported a fully-remote culture.

The team is currently looking to hire entry level business development representatives to join their team as they grow. Their award-winning platform offers consumers a marketplace to book a variety of fun activities, from wine tours and water sports to skydiving, art classes, and much more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cold calls (approximately 65 calls per day) to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Schedule a minimum of 20 high-quality meetings per month, aiming for 2-3 meetings each business day.
  • Present and promote our unique software solutions to potential clients, articulating the value and benefits of our marketplace.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for increasing engagement and conversion rates.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's products, competition, industry, marketing goals, and objectives.
  • Efficiently manage time to focus on activities that grow pipeline and revenue.
  • Accurately record and update customer information in the CRM system.
  • Participate in team meetings and sales training to stay aligned with company goals and strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong desire to pursue a career in sales and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively over the phone.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with a high level of energy and drive.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
