Job description

Job Title: Lead Creative Strategist
Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time (1099 Contractor)
The Mission
We are looking for a Lead Creative Strategist to act as the "strategic translator" between our Media Buyers and our creative execution team. You aren't just making "pretty" ads; you are building a data-based roadmap to understand why creative works and how to iterate for scale. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you will lead the creative vision and oversee a team of junior strategists to drive repeatable wins for our DTC partners.
The Role: Strategic Architect & Team Leader
Success in this role means establishing a structured, repeatable cadence for testing and decision-making. You will bridge the gap between performance data and creative execution.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Creative Strategy & Roadmapping: Define winning beliefs, angles, and roadmaps. Translate media buyer insights into clear creative direction and briefs.
  • Team Leadership: Directly manage and develop two Junior Creative Strategists, overseeing their execution and ensuring professional growth.
  • Performance Analysis: Lead creative reporting and data-based testing. Identify winning hooks and iterate on assets with surgical precision.
  • Asset Management: Oversee creative trackers and organization, ensuring the creative pipeline is documented and fulfilled according to company SOPs.
  • Collaboration: Work side-by-side with Media Buyers and the Director of Marketing to align creative output with quarterly CPA and ROAS targets.
  • AI Utilization: Leverage AI tools to accelerate ideation and analysis while maintaining high strategic judgment and creative quality.

Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5+ years in creative strategy, performance marketing, or content strategy, preferably within a fast-growth agency or DTC environment.
  • Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of performance marketing concepts (funnels, angles, hooks, testing frameworks). Ability to translate data into creative briefs.
  • Tools: Mastery of project management tools (Monday.com), Google Workspace, and AI tools for productivity.
  • Location & Logistics: Fully remote
  • Mandatory Alignment with Eastern Time (EST) working hours.
  • Experience working in Telehealth is a plus
  • Must have a high-energy and competitor mindset.

Benefits
  • Total Potential Earnings: Up to $110,000 per year.
  • Base Salary: $77,000 USD.
  • Bonuses: Up to $33,000 based on performance team quarterly targets.
  • Paid Time Off: ~20 days per year (10 days PTO + US Holidays + the week between Christmas and New Year's).
  • Professional Growth: Opportunity to lead a department in a scaling agency.
Hiring Process
Our selection process is rigorous and designed for top-tier talent:
  1. Culture Index (CI) Assessment
  2. Recruiter Screening
  3. Hiring Manager Interview
  4. Test Project
  5. Final Review: Presentation of the test project and final alignment.

Note: A 90-day probationary period applies to all new roles to ensure a mutual fit.
