What are remote counseling practicum students?

Remote counseling practicum students are graduate students in counseling or related fields who complete their practical training requirements through virtual platforms rather than in-person settings. They provide counseling services to clients under the supervision of licensed professionals, utilizing video calls, phone sessions, or secure online messaging. This remote format allows students to gain real-world experience, develop counseling skills, and fulfill academic or licensure requirements while maintaining flexibility and accessibility.
