Position Overview

Counseling Path Services is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote, outpatient setting. This full-time position is ideal for a compassionate and skilled individual who is committed to the mental health field and possesses a strong desire to empower clients on their journey toward healing and growth. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality psychotherapy services to diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, and families, enhancing their ability to cope with lifeโ€™s challenges.

About the Organization

At Counseling Path Services, our mission revolves around celebrating mental health and fostering a supportive environment where individuals are empowered to take control of their personal growth. As catalysts for positive change, we strive to bridge the gap between mental health and everyday life, ensuring that our clients are not only heard but feel a profound sense of transformation. Our team is driven by a shared commitment to client success and professional satisfaction, making the workplace a nurturing environment where mental health professionals can flourish.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to maintain both a productive work-life balance and a conducive environment tailored to your individual needs. Though remote, you will be part of a vibrant team that values collaboration and camaraderie. Our outpatient office operates on principles of support and continuous professional development. Youโ€™ll receive full administrative support, enabling you to focus on what truly matters: your clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students and emerging mental health professionals pursuing clinical licensure.
  • Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and deliver psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches.
  • Develop, implement, and manage effective treatment plans in tandem with clients, setting actionable goals to assess progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and adjustments to plans, complying with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about current research, best practices, and innovations in the mental health field.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of client populations, each with unique needs and backgrounds. Our emphasis on individualized care enables therapists to tailor their approaches based on specific client situations, ultimately contributing to enhanced therapeutic outcomes. Youโ€™ll have the opportunity to address various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions, empowering clients to navigate their challenges effectively.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
  • A valid State license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or an equivalent licensing credential.
  • Current professional liability insurance.
  • Minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in a therapeutic setting, demonstrating proficiency in delivering mental health services.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing supervision to practicum students or working closely with emerging therapists.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
  • Prior experience working in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package ranging from $120,000 to $140,000 annually, including a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, paid parental leave, generous holiday allowances, and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to ensure holistic care for our team. We prioritize above market compensation with unlimited earning potential as well.
