This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your home while being part of a dynamic and supportive team. While you will be mainly engaged in individual and group therapy through telehealth platforms, you'll also have weekly supervision meetings and collaborations with school-based personnel and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care. You will develop strong relationships with educators and parents to support student mental health effectively.

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and crisis interventions for school-aged clients, ensuring timely and appropriate assessments.
• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions focused on social skills, emotional regulation, and coping strategies for children and adolescents.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of students' needs.
• Complete essential documentation, including progress notes and statistical reports, to monitor treatment efficacy and quality management.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and case conferences to enhance treatment planning and professional development.
• Coordinate care with community resources and other treatment programs to ensure comprehensive support for each student.
• Provide discharge planning and facilitate reentry services for clients transitioning from more intensive levels of care.

In this role, you will primarily focus on children and adolescents, addressing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and trauma-related disorders. Your expertise will help create an environment where students feel safe and supported, promoting their emotional and academic success.

• A master’s or doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline is required.
• Active licensure or eligibility for licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with families, educators, and mental health professionals.

• Previous experience in providing therapy within school settings or working with children and adolescents is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and crisis intervention techniques is advantageous.
• Experience with telehealth services and electronic health record documentation will be beneficial.
