• Assess the needs of students through comprehensive interviews and determine their conditions, strengths, and areas requiring support to foster their academic and personal growth.
• Develop personalized treatment plans by addressing each case holistically, focusing on measurable and achievable goals that align with the students' unique circumstances.
• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide counseling and guidance during individual sessions, drawing from evidence-based practices and therapeutic interventions.
• Document client interactions accurately and maintain up-to-date records to track progress and report findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in case conferences, providing insights and advocating for the needs of students when necessary, including providing testimony in educational review meetings, if required.
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other community resources to create comprehensive support networks for clients.
• Refer clients to additional community services that complement their recovery and academic progress and ensure a seamless transition in their care.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, including emotional, behavioral, and social difficulties. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and academic stress, ensuring that each student's voice and experience are prioritized in developing their care plans.

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or Sociology from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in the state of California.
• Proven experience as a Social Worker, particularly in educational settings, is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of relevant social work theories, practices, and methodologies, with an ability to apply them effectively.
