Corporate Development Specialist
The Opportunity:
As a leader within Corporate Development, you will drive high impact business diligence and companywide strategic initiatives. You will partner with Market Leaders to lead M&A sourcing and business case development. Leveraging deep market insight, and analytical rigor, you will develop prioritized M&A sourcing pipeline. For M&A activities, you will partner with market leaders to articulate the strategic rationale and help market leaders build the business case for each transaction. You will build detailed waterfall models and financial forecasts to evaluate M&A opportunities. You'll work with market and functional leaders to translate business case and value drivers into integration planning, supporting the end-to-end M&A process. You'll be responsible for leading and mentoring junior team members across the M&A lifecycle. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
What You'll Work On:
  • Lead development of business case for acquisitions and equity investments.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trend assessments to identify growth opportunities and strategic risks.
  • Partner with business leaders to define strategic objectives, key assumptions, implementation plans, and success metrics.
  • Develop executive-level presentations and recommendations for leadership reviews, board meetings, and investment committees.
  • Evaluate M&A opportunities, leading business and commercial due diligence.
  • Establish standardized frameworks and methodologies for business case development.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate development
  • Experience structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Experience building complex financial models, including financial waterfalls and forecasts, scenario analyses, ROI frameworks, and valuation assessments to support executive decision-making
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel modeling and PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience in the Aerospace, Defense, Government Services, or Tech market
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights, including using large data sets in Excel such as pivot tables
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with federal budgets
  • Experience with complex Excel modeling
  • Ability to build complex operating P&Ls and develop Monte Carlo simulations
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Finance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
