Key responsibilities for this role include:
  • Lead end-to-end financial analysis and valuation workstreams across strategic transactions, including M&A, licensing, and partnerships.
  • Build, refine, and oversee complex financial models that incorporate multiple scenarios, risks, and assumptions.
  • Drive transaction processes beyond valuation, including structuring, negotiations, and execution.
  • Synthesize cross-functional inputs into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Apply independent judgment to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and surface risks.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to key internal stakeholders, including Commercial, R&D, IP, Finance, Tax, Treasury, HR, and Transformation/Integration teams.
  • Lead cross-functional discussions and alignment, often navigating competing priorities to drive decision-making.
  • Independently run meetings and workstreams with senior stakeholders to maintain deal momentum.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, legal counsel, and consulting firms and ensure they deliver high-quality outputs aligned with transaction objectives and timelines.
  • Enhance Corporate Development processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency, consistency, and execution discipline.
  • Develop and maintain transaction tracking mechanisms and reporting frameworks.
  • Manage multiple concurrent transactions and priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and adaptability when navigating dynamic stakeholder environments.
  • Drive alignment across large, cross-functional teams and ensure timely execution of key milestones.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:
  • Bachelors degree required. Masters degree preferred.
  • 6-10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical corporate development, investment banking, private equity or a related field
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation expertise across a range of transaction types.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, high-visibility projects.
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering executive-level presentations.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks and develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with attention to detail and clarity in both written and verbal formats.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external advisors in transaction environments.
  • High degree of ownership, proactiveness, and intellectual curiosity.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. The salary range for this position is $112,000 - $236,000.
