We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to support a federal government contract, ensuring mission success through technical expertise, professionalism, and innovation.


Position Overview

The Salesforce Developer will design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions that will enable our federal customer to achieve mission-critical objectives. This role will be hands-on with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and integrations, while collaborating with administrators, consultants, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop custom Salesforce applications, components, and integrations using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and API services.
  • Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver high-quality compliant solutions.
  • Support capture of feedback by incorporating them as user stories and tasks in the product backlog and assists in prioritizing them for implementation in subsequent sprint cycles.
  • Assist in decomposition of complex capabilities into testable user stories and tasks working in close coordination with the development teams.
  • Prepare, participate, and engage in sprint review / integration solution design demo sessions by presenting and addressing technical queries as needed.
  • Proactively identifies potential risks and supports devising strategies and implementing them.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to Salesforce leading practices and federal security and compliance standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release management.
  • Assess vulnerability scan results and resolve issues as directed by government.
  • Manage deployment activities and deliverables from Dev environment to additional government environments as needed.
  • Maintain documentation, technical designs, and deployment procedures.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
  • Support all agile ceremonies as requested including sprint planning, backlog grooming, technical spikes, sprint reviews, and demos.


Required Qualifications


  • Education & Experience (must meet one of the following):
    • Bachelor's degree + 3 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience, OR
    • Associate's degree + 5 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience, OR
    • High School Diploma/GED + 7 years of Salesforce or relevant software development experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Administrator, Platform App Builder).
  • Experience supporting federal government agencies or working in a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, or Git-based workflows).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce security, compliance, and FedRAMP requirements.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
