Job Description:
We are seeking a board-certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to join our team as a Telehealth Physician. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through virtual platforms, addressing a wide range of primary care needs. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, empathetic, and committed to improving access to healthcare by leveraging telemedicine.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct virtual visits via secure telehealth platforms for acute, chronic, and preventive care.
Take comprehensive patient histories, perform virtual physical assessments, and develop accurate diagnoses.
Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests, labs, or imaging as clinically appropriate.
Manage chronic diseases (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, asthma) with evidence-based protocols.
Provide preventive care counseling, including lifestyle management, screenings, and vaccinations.
Deliver urgent care for minor illnesses and injuries within telehealth scope.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state(s) of practice (multi-state licenses preferred).
Valid DEA license for prescribing controlled substances (if applicable).
Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or hospital medicine (telehealth experience preferred but not required).
5+ years clinical experience or recent gerontology fellowship
