NOW RECRUITING A MISSION-DRIVEN LEADER IN COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND MARKETING.

At Transitions Counseling and Consulting, our mission is to provide mental health care that improves lives, powered by a team that never stops learning.

If you are a driven, relationship-focused leader who wants to build something meaningful and help children, families, and adults get the care they need, we want to hear from you.

Why Work With Us?

  • MEANINGFUL WORK: The systems you build and the relationships you develop will help connect children, families, and adults to mental health care that can change their lives.
  • HYBRID WORK: Work from home with regular local travel as needed throughout Harris County for referral partner meetings, community events, and field ride-alongs with your team.
  • COMPETITIVE SALARY: Take home $140,000 to $150,000 annually in a role where your contributions are recognized and rewarded.
  • GENEROUS BONUS POTENTIAL: Earn up to $25,000 annually in bonus based on your results.
  • GENEROUS TIME OFF: 4.5 working weeks of time off including sick time, holidays, and your birthday, because rest makes you better at what you do.
  • COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH COVERAGE: Multiple BCBS medical plans plus Blue365 discounts on apparel, fitness, travel, and more.
  • DENTAL & VISION PLANS: Comprehensive coverage for you and your family.
  • RETIREMENT SAVINGS: 401(k) to help you build the future you are working toward.
  • HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT (HSA): Employer-matched contributions to support your healthcare needs.
  • DEPENDENT CARE FSA: Tax-advantaged savings for childcare and dependent care expenses.
  • WELLNESS RESOURCES: Access to the Sharecare wellness platform for health tools and personalized support.
  • ROOM TO GROW: Over 50% of our leadership positions are filled by internal team members.
  • CLINICALLY DRIVEN LEADERSHIP: Work for a Joint Commission-accredited organization run by experienced mental health professionals who understand what it takes to get people connected to care.

Your Role:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies with a strong emphasis on in-person referral development, community partnerships, and market expansion.
  • Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of community outreach representatives across markets, including field training, performance management, territory planning, and KPI oversight.
  • Directly build, strengthen, and sustain relationships with key community partners and referral sources, understanding their needs and effectively showcasing our services.
  • Build scalable outreach systems and accountability structures to support consistent referral growth across regions.
  • Oversee marketing initiatives across digital platforms, print media, and community outreach efforts in support of referral network growth.
  • Collaborate with operations, clinical leadership, and executive leadership to align growth strategies with organizational priorities. Track, analyze, and report on marketing data and KPIs to continuously optimize results.
  • Manage the marketing budget and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience in business development, marketing, or a related field, with a strong preference for experience in multi-site, multi-state outpatient behavioral health, counseling, or psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead marketing teams to produce results and achieve organizational goals.
  • Prior experience executing digital, print, and in-person marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Prior experience with social media platforms and CRM systems.
  • Prior experience managing marketing vendor relationships.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people in a manner that is direct, clear, courteous, and tactful in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Travel to company locations and partner sites may be required; reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are expected.
  • Candidates must reside in Harris County, Texas; exceptions may be approved in writing on a case-by-case basis.

Excited to Make a Real Impact? If you believe every child, teenager, and adult deserves access to quality mental health care and you want to be the person who helps make that happen, we want you on our team.
