• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing standardized tools and interviewing techniques to determine patient needs, mental health status, and personal goals.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on detailed assessments and evidence-based practices, employing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic groups to address prevalent mental health issues, create a safe community space, and foster peer support among participants.
• Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services during challenging mental health emergencies, guiding patients through immediate challenges while connecting them to ongoing support.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care, ensuring that all treatment aspects are coordinated and focused on patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
• Participate actively in continuing education opportunities to stay informed about the latest research, techniques, and policies impacting mental health therapy.

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population with varying mental health needs. You will be working with individuals who face challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related issues, and relationship concerns. Each patient's treatment plan will be customized to reflect their unique experiences, preferences, and goals, thus enhancing their overall well-being.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Virginia is required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses, treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches.
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with patients and working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, with the ability to efficiently manage documentation and patient charts.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, particularly with diverse populations and a variety of mental health challenges.
• Demonstrated involvement in community outreach or engagement initiatives focused on mental health awareness and education.
• Prior experience in a clinical or community health setting is an advantage.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
