Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments with clients to evaluate their mental health status, strengths, and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and personalized therapeutic modalities.
• Maintain regular appointments with clients, providing a supportive environment where they can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and process challenging experiences.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring that approaches are culturally responsive and foster inclusivity.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create integrated care plans that optimize patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress and treatment interventions accurately within our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, adhering to regulatory requirements and confidentiality guidelines.
• Stay current with developments in the mental health field, participating in continuing education and training to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at St Paul Behavioral Health Center, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use, trauma, and more. Your ability to understand and meet the unique cultural and personal needs of each client is essential. Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling, including direct client engagement.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within community health settings.
• Demonstrated ability in crisis intervention and management of complex client situations.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience in maintaining accurate patient records.

Compensation and Benefits

St Paul Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
