Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clientsโ€™ mental health needs, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to create individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and family therapy, in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate closely with case managers and psychiatrist colleagues to ensure seamless and coordinated care for clients across different service areas.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention for clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and connecting them to appropriate resources.
  • Actively engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to raise awareness about mental health issues, destigmatize treatment, and promote wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will primarily support individuals from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clinic values cultural competence and sensitivity, which enables our providers to foster trust and rapport with clients, ensuring they feel understood and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist.
  • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Cultural competence, demonstrating the ability to engage sensitively and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency in maintaining accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with various evidence-based treatment modalities and an understanding of integrated care models.
